A LoT tO CaTcH uP oN.......

So I have been a little blog slackin lately. I just havne't been in the mood to post anything, even though we have had things going on. So I will begin with our family Reunion...

Williams Family Reunion
Every year my family goes camping for our reunion. It is always so much fun to get together while the kids just run around a have a good time. This year Keely was old enough to run right along with the other kids. Well not really, it was more like trying to keep up and falling down every few feet on the uneven ground, but she had so much fun. We went the weekend of July 24-26th. We camped up by legacy ranch and the ground was so green from all the rain they have been getting, it even rained every day when we were up there making the weather so cool and enjoyable. We ate so good that it wasn't even like we should have been camping. My brother Ben's family and Kim's family made us BBQ sandwiches pit style and we had french toast and yummy food the whole weekend. Anyway here are some pitures of the trip....
Playing with cousins at the card table.

Wakeboarding

A couple weekends ago Shawn, Keely and I went to the lake with Shawn's parents. It was the first time that Keely had been to the lake and on a boat. She wasn't too sure about it at first but she warmed up to it. We even got her to go on the tube. It was really fun to be wakeboarding again. I hadn't gone in a while. Shawn's parents are so kind to take us to the lake once in a while, since we don't have a boat or even a truck to pull one with, or what am I saying we don't even have a place to put a boat haha. Anyway here are a couple pictures from the day....

Also the other week, I watched my brother Ben's kids while they went to buy a truck. They have 3 boys and a little girl Keely's age. Let me just tell ya, it was a houseful. I just have some funny pictures to share that I thought were really cute.....

Anniversary....What?

Haha well I feel so bad, but I know I would feel worse if Shawn didn't make the mistake as well. Yesterday the 9th was our anniversary, and both of us completely forgot. I know! How sad and unromantic are we? We kind of went to bed mad the night before, and so the next morning we woke up not even thinking of what day it was. I was the first to remember, but that's only becuase my sister Ginger called to with us happy anniversary and see if she could babysit for us for a night out. Haha how sad is that. Ginger remembered before I did.

So Shawn and I just went to see a movie and eat some yumo Taco Bell. Nothing real special but it was nice to get out of the house. Thanks agian Ginger!

I sure do love Shawn though and am grateful that he didn't get upset at me because I forgot our anniversary. He does so much for me, even when I am so grumpy and don't deserve it. He really doese help me keep my head on straight when I am worrying all the time. Anyway here are some of my favorite pictures....

Fourth of July

We had a really good 4th of July weekend. I got to go up to HeberWednesday night with my sister Kelli and Shawn later drove up on Friday afternoon. It was really great being able to stay at my mom's and enjoy the beautiful cloudy weather all weekend. On Thursday we picked my sister Kim up from Taylor and brought her home with us, so we could make paper dolls for our girls. She has a cricut, which is the coolest scrapbooking machine I have ever seen, and that is how we were able to make the paper dolls. You just tell it what you want, and what size and it cuts it out perfectly for you. So cool. Anyway, we had a lot of fun doing that, maybe more than the girls did when playing with them.

Keely had so much fun playing with all her cousins that came to my mom's house. . Here are some pictures of our weekend. I did take a lot of pitures and so many of them came out cute, so sorry if there are alot.

Abigal came to my mom's wearing the same exact shirt, it was funny, they are only a month apart and they looked like twins.
Waiting for the parade to start....I don't know why, but Keely was throwing some major tantrum, and this was one of them. She wanted to go outside, so she curled up next to the door. I hope this stage passes soon.
Keely and I waiting for the fireworks.Family picture.
This picture turned out really cool. I don't know how I did it, but she was swinging those glow sticks and the camera captured it....

A lot to catch up on.......

First up - the move.....

We have been so busy lately that I haven't had time to really sit down and post anything. First of all, at the end of May, we moved into a larger condo for the same price we were paying, until we plunge in to buy a house. We are now living in north Mesa, and we are liking it. I must say though, that I was a little bad tempered about moving, and I am sure Shawn wanted to strangle my neck. I just hate moving so very much, and I loved our old place and our old ward. We will miss the Lindsay Villas, well, I will at least. It was hard for Keely to get used to sleeping in a new place, but by the end of the first week, she was just fine.
At our new place.
Taking a break when moving.

Still Working.....

I have taken on new responsibilites at work. Since I had Keely, my friend and I split my full time job up in half so we both could work part time from home, but she recently had a new baby boy, and it was a lot for her to handle. So I took back the other half of my job. So basicaly I am working a full time job, in 3 hours a day. It was a little overwhelming at first, but now that I got myself organized, it is much better, and things are running smoothly. So now instead of working half of Keely's naptime, I am working the full 3-4 hours, so it doesn't seem like I ever have any down time. Let's just hope I don't burn myself out. I keep telling myself I will do this until Shawn is done with school, because it is really nice to have the extra money. So we will see how it goes.

Birthday....
My birthday was May 26th and I am now 22. Doesn't even really feel different. It is weird that I have been graduated for 4 years. Time just really seems to fly. It makes me feel old when I hear that Celeste Reidhead is engaged!

Swim Lessons....
I put Keely in swim lessons the first 2 weeks of June. I thought it would be nice to get out in the sun everday, and for her to be with other kids. My friend Courtney did it with us, or I should say, I did it with her. Keely did okay, but I learned that she is really defiante of me. She will do things asked of her for others, but when I ask her to do something, look out tantrum. I have no idea what I am doing with being a mom, but I sure hope I figure it out soon, because we just went to Target today, and we had yet a major break down.

Goodbye car....
Since gas prices have gone up considerably, Shawn has really been thinking about getting a motorcycle, and I finally gave it, but I told him first we had to sell our Lincoln LS. Well it sold Saturday, and I was kind of sad. It was a really nice car, but we can't afford to have both the Lincoln and motorcyle. It also took Premium gas so we were paying up the wazoo to drive it. So ya, I guess you can say that Shawn is pretty excited about getting his motorcycle. He needs to remember what a wonderful wife he has :) I will post a picture of him when he gets it. For some reason I have a hard time picturing him on one, does anyone else, or is it just me?
Here are some of my favorite pictures of the past month of Keely.... She is so funny.

Miss fix - it. After watching us, she thinks everything needs fixing.

I love these two pictures of her with her sunglasses.

Well it was Shawn's birthday on the 9th. He is 26 now; he is closer to 30 than he is to 20 now. He's getting old! Just kidding. I love you honey; happy birthday! We just had Jason and Courtney over for pizza and to visit, since we hadn't seen them in forever. It was great to catch up and watch Jaxon and Keely interact.
We haven't been up to much. Shawn is done with school for the semester, and he ended up getting good grades, which he was so happy about. Shawn was really bummed when the Suns dissapointed once again, so there hasn't been basketball on, but now the DBacks are. I have to admit, I enjoy watching the DBack games. They are a fun team. I hope we get to go to a game this year.
We are moving to a new condo at the end of May. We will be saving money for a lot bigger place; almost 400 square foot bigger for less. So it is exciting. We have all month to move, so last weekend we moved all our storage stuff and the stuff that we don't use. So it will be a nice easy move and transition. I have given up on reading for the time being. I think I wore my eyes out, and there really hasn't been time with packing things up and such.
I went to my friend Amber Crandell's bridal shower last Saturday. I seriously have been looking forward to it for about a month. I love baby showers, and it was so good to see my friends from High School that I haven't seen in a while. I was hoping I could get to see more, but it was still great! I haven't really posted any pictures of Keely lately, so these are my favorite from the past month in a half.

Reading Time!

Well these past two weeks have kind of been a blur. It seems I have been reading non stop and can't get enough of it. I started with reading the Twilight series for the second time, and I thought hmm I will just casually read through them and enjoy them again. The first time I read them I read really fast, so I thought the second time I wouldn't get so involved. Well I was stupid, because it was just as bad, I couldn't put them down. I love those books. I used to be an Edward fan, but I am kind of leaning towards Jacob after this second go around (for those of you who know what I am talking about). I finish all three of them in 8 days, and then I started reading Wuthering Heights, finished that one in 3 days, and then I started "These is my words" and finished that one in 3 days. So in about 14 days I read 1,600 pages. That is a lot of reading; I feel like such a nerd! It reminds me of the good old AR days in high school. But it also reminds me of Trace Porter making fun of Nicole Barnett for reading all the time. Haha. Love you Nicole! I don't know why I always think of that when reading, but I do.

So after reading all those books, I feel like a bad mom and wife. I think I have neglected my family! and my eyes are a little tired haha. I am taking a little break, but I forgot how fun it is to just sit and get absorbed in a book. So I have done a little repenting and started doing my chores again and making dinner for my family.

But for those of you who haven't read "These is my Words" by Nancy Turner, it is such a very good book. I highly recommend it. Its about this woman who settles near Tuscon in 1890, and she talks about getting married and having a family, and all the trials that she went through. It's a real tear jerker though. I have a list of books that I am going to read, but I want to know about some other good books that people have read. So if you have a good one, let me know! :)

Easter Sunday

My mom got Keely her Easter dress this year, so I didn't end up making one. So Shawn and I decided that we needed new church clothes as well. I think it is the perfect time of year to get new church clothes. We were one smokin family at church I must say. Haha I am just kidding. Keely looked so cute in her dress, and I just started putting pig tails in her hair, which made her even cuter. She got the idea of looking for her easter eggs at Grandma Nelson's.

Isn't he so handsome? I had a hard time getting Keely to look at me.
Shawn did a better job getting her to smile for the camera.

Isn't she such a cute little bunny. :)

Finding her eggs.Putting them in her basket. Looking at her prizes.

I am so grateful for the wonderful family that Shawn and I have. We are so blessed I can't even describe. I hope everyone had a good Easter Sunday. :)
