It seems we get busier and busier as life goes on. Shawn is working hard juggling his schedule from day to day. With working full time, trying to meet his quota at work, going to school full time, studying, and being the executive secretary in our ward, we wonder how he does it. But he just keeps pushing on, taking a day at a time, week at a time, semester at a time. We know it will end. Just the stage in life we are in now. We sure love him.The girls have been so fun lately. Keely is so excited to turn four. I swear there are going to be many life changing moments when it's her birthday. Five times a day she says "When I'm four then I can eat my dinner all gone. "When I 'm four then I can play it all by my self." "When I'm four then I can...." The list goes on and on. It's so funny. She is into video games big time lately. She wanted to play Lego Batman all the time, but she was always asking for my help, it's just too hard for her. So we got her a Littlest Pet Shop game on the Wii, and she asks to play it all the time. She love games on the computer PBS Kids. She can navigate throught that website like a pro, and would play for hours if I would let her. She is an electronics girl that's for sure. Here's Keely and her cousin Nathan playing Lego Batman. He is really good. He is four so Keely thinks when she is four she will be good too. :)
Lydia never sits still. She is constantly moving. She is the biggest tease. She is alwasy teasing Keely and making Keely mad. She is talking more and more, and she won't use her hands to eat anymore, she has to use a utensil, which is frustrating sometimes. She will climb up on a chair and finish Keely's breakfast all the time. She loves to swing. She pulls my hand to take her outside to swing 20 times a day. She is addicted

It's Autumn Time, It's Autumn Time!
I think Autumn has finally come! The tempatures are cooling and I am one happy woman! My mood really does change this time of year. My favorite thing to do is leave the back door open, so the girls can run inside and out all day long. Isn't that the best? Well last Tuesday I was up at my sister Kim's house in Taylor, and we decided to go to the Snowflake pumpkin patch. It was beautiful. The sky was dark with clouds, we were in a huge garden full of pumpkins galore, it was perfect. Keely and Lydia had so much fun with their cousins running around the acres full of pumpkins.
Happy Fall!

5 Years and Counting
Shawn did something unexpected this year for our anniversary. He planned a trip in secrecy for us. He even called to get my sister Ginger and Chrissy to watch our girls! Pretty impressive huh? I had no idea where we were going until I saw the signs on the way there. He did a very good job. So where did he take us you ask? Well I have never been to Las Vegas, so we went! No no no, we didn't gamble or anything of the nature that normal goers go and do, we just went to sight see. Those hotels are absolutely amazing. We walked about 15 miles going into all the big hotels on the strip. It was really weird being away from the girls, and we couldn't wait to get back to them, it was nice to take a moment (well two days) and just focus on each other. Very rejuvenating. Well now I can say that I have been to Viva Las Vegas. Not that I care to go back ever again (because of the filth), but see I have proof I've been....Shawn was taking a big chunk out of that giant jelly belly statue of liberty. Tasty.
We went to Italy, Rome, Egypt, Africa... man we really get around fast huh? :) This was my favorite hotel... This is inside the Venetian , is that the one with the gondola? Well whatever that one is called. I liked that one the best. This is the inside, the ceilings were amazing!
Can you believe it's been 5 years? Neither can I!

Long Overdue Post
It has been a really long time since I last posted, and there really hasn't been a reason why, just laziness I guess. Well we have been busy in other areas. We pulled up all our tile in our house, and replaced it with new flooring and carpet. I've been painting trim, walls, and doors. Replacing doorknobs and such. Replacing the bathroom flooring. So ya, I guess we have been busy, trying to get our house the way we want it. Pictures will come soon, but we don't have any baseboards yet, so I will wait till we get those in a couple weeks or so. It is fun making our house the way we want it, but also stressful. Paint colors....ugg are so hard to find the right color. It drives me mad. I painted all downstairs, a tan color, but the more I look at it, the more I don't like it. but I think I found the color to repaint it. It's just so much work.
During cousin's sprink breaks, we got to go to the zoo twice. Once with the Nelson's and once with my mom and sisters. We love to go to the zoo and walk around. I didn't get any pictures with my mom and sisters, but here are some of the Nelson trip.I love this picture with the stroller. We got a double stroller, and if you can see Keely in the back with her cousin JP, they are so little that it became a triple stroller. I am so glad that we got it, it makes trips like that a whole lot easier.
The girls have been so fun lately. Keely is listening so well now. I put her in a dance class, that she loves. I think it gives her something to look forward to and makes her feel important. She loves to dance. Lydia is in to EVERYTHING! She is such a busy, busy little girl. Keely was just opposite, I am not sure what I am going to do with Lydia. The other day, I found Lydia playing in the toilet water, pulling down all the toilet paper, getting into the trash, ect, ect. She is nonstop going. I don't know what I am going to do when she starts walking.
Keely loves to feed Lydia. She will even be better at it with the next baby. That will be nice.

Play, Play, Play
All Keely wants to do these days is play, play, play. So lately when Shawn and I have been putting her down for her nap time or bed time, she is always getting out of bed. She will change her clothes, read her books, sing, ect, ect because she can't or won't fall asleep. So this past week, or so, we have found her sleeping in some funny positions.
This is during one nap time, when she fell asleep in the bathroom on the floor. She did look really comfy. This picture was taken like at 11 at night. I went upstairs to go to bed and the light was on. She borrowed that book from Grandma Nelson and loves them.

Jesus Wants Me For a Sunbeam
Keely has graduated from nursery and now is in Sumbeams! She is growing up so fast. She is such a good girl, and just sits quietly in her seat and watches all the big kids. How do I know this you ask? Well I got a calling 4 weeks ago..... I am the Primary music leader. Those who know me will probably laugh. I laughed when they told me. I am a little intimidated, but I am getting used to it, and learning what works and what doesn't. It will be good for me to break out of my shell a little bit. I love primary though. I am so thankful that Shawn and I were primary teachers in our last ward, because Ithink that it prepared me for this calling now. It reminded me what goes on and what is expected during sharing time. But ya, it's fun though to watch Keely in primary. I sit like 3 feet away from her, and she is good to stay in her seat while I am doing my thing which I was a little worried about. "Come with me to primary, come with me to primary, whereever in the world that you may be, oh come with me to primary"

The Holidays and such.
We had a wonderful holiday season. We prepare and prepare, and it seems like it just fly's by. We are so blessed to have such wonderful family and friends, employment, and food on the table. We stayed at our home Christmas morning and visted Shawn's family in the afternoon. We then went to see my parents in Heber the day after and got to play in some snow. For New Year's Eve, we had my family brother Travis and Ginger come over to play games. We played Clue, ya you heard right Clue, and Apples to Apples. After Travis and Jen's family left, Ginger and her hubby Steve and Shawn and I played rockband. Steve was amazing at the drums, It was really fun to have everyone come over. I love having a house where we can actually fit people, now we just need furniture for them to SIT. Baby steps people. Here are some pictures....Keely and her cousin Cossette, playing in the snow. They are 3 months apart and get along so well together.
Lydia, Christmas morning.
The loves of my life. Aren't they so adorable?
The finished stocking that i completed after 2 years in the closet. I thought they turned out awesome.
