It's a Girl!!!

So today we found out what little baby we will bring in this world and yes it is another girl. We are really excited. Keely will have a little sister and it will be much easier because I already have everything, so it will be more simple. It is so funny; in Shawn's family there are 5 kids and the first 4 have had 2 girls first. So it was pretty inevitable that we woudl have a girl. Shawn's younger brother's wife is pregnant as well and of course she is having a girl too. As far as names go, we are thinking of the name Lydia, so we will see if that one sticks.

The Zipper Dress...

A while ago I said I was going to make Keely a Christmas dress with some fabric my mom gave me, and it turned out pretty well. I don't know what it was with this dress, but I felt like I took it apart a hundred times, to get it right. Also it was my first zipper dress... I don't know why I picked to do this dress, because I have never done a zipper. So a big thanks to my mother in law I was able to do it! Thanks again Jennifer. Now I just have to remember the steps for the next zipper I do. But lets all clap for Sharla because I think she did a great job:)

Happy Birthday!!

Today is my sweet Keely's birthday! December 17th. We celebrated on Monday because Shawn had night class on Tuesday and Wednesday night. Today Grandma Nelson took Keely out to lunch and McDonalds to get a happy meal, which Keely I am sure had fun just being with her Grandma. When we ask her how old she is, she holds up all her fingers and says "toot".

I am so thankful to have such a sweet special girl in our family. Where ever she goes she brightens everyone's day with her smile and personality. She seems to always have a little sparkle in her eye, and I sure hope she knows how much her mom and dad love her. Happy Birthday Keely!

Grandma and Papa got Keely a kitchen for her birthday and she absolutly loves it.

Here comes Number Two!! :)

So Shawn and I have some news.... we are expecting another baby! Yahoo!! I am 14 weeks along and my due date is June 3rd. I have been waiting to tell people till after I went and saw the doctor and to hear a heartbeat, and I just saw her yesterday, and everything is great! We did an ultra sound and it was sucking it's thumb, it was so cute. I am on the fence post to be able to distinguish the sex but it was covering itself up so she couldn't tell us. But we find out what we are having Dec 30th. Shawn and I are so excited to see what the Lord has in store for us next. I have a hard time picturing anything but a Keely, so it is going to be fun seeing what child we will welcome into our family.
It seems that there are so many people pregnant. My sister in law is May 27th, my cousin is May 9th, my brother Ben's wife is due early July, I am due June 3rd, and my friend is due June 17th. So I know of five within a month or so apart. Crazy huh?
