I saw other's blogs and thought this was a fun thing to do. I as well neglected to do Christmas Cards that I really wanted to do, but never did. Soo....
I will start off by saying that we have been really blessed this past year of 2007. Keely was born in December of 2006, but it's kind of like she was born in 2007 (if that makes sense). I still remember bringing her home from the hospital and taking care of her those first couple of weeks. I was so paranoid that she would get RSV. Ask Shawn, I was constantly reading books so I was educated in preventing Keely from getting RSV. That is one thing that doctors tell you about. So I worried all the time that she got it, and a couple days after her blessing in February we found out Keely was sick with RSV, my worst nightmare. We stayed 5 days in the hospital, maybe the worst days of my life. But everything turned out right, as all our trials seem to do.
Shawn left his job installing Alarms for Southwest Dealer Services, and is now working for Allstate since February.
Shawn went snowboarding in April to Colorado with some friends. In May Shawn turned 25 and I turned 21 (which was a huge break in our car insurance!) In July Shawn and I celebrated our 2 year anniversary. In August my sisters, mom and I went to Connecticut to visit Ginger, and we got to do the whole New York experience. Also Shawn re-enrolled in school full time still working hard. He starts again in about a week.
In September the Nelson clan invaded Disneyland, which was really really fun to have the whole family there. Keely was able to get her first beach experience and Shawn was able to visit his mission.
I think that is all the highlights of the year. We have been so blessed that I can hardly name all the blessing that we have. We are excited for the new year, as we know Shawn is getting that much closer to finishing school and Keely is learning so much everyday. These past years have gone by so fast, hopefully this year will seem to last longer and bring much more joy. Happy New Year!

I like that- looking over the year! It makes you realize everything good that really does happen in your life huh?! It was interesting to read! Yeah the highchair is nice, but it takes up so much space! I was debating just getting a booster seat but we only have 2 chairs with this table, so we would have needed to buy a new table or unmatching chair or something, and this was just easier! haha. Well I hope this year is as good to us as this past year was!
You guys had a good year too huh? I remember being so nervous for you guys when Keely was sick. You were all in our prayers! It seriously is so scary having a sick baby- even if it is just something little- but RSV is a big deal. ANyway... glad you guys had a great year. We miss you all!
Oh well we are all glad you had little keely tooo she is so adorable!! I just cant get over how much she looks like you!! everytime I see a picture of her I think waite isnt it 2008 for a minute I thought I was three again hahaha anyway hope to see you soon!! Glad you guys had a good year!!
Your little family is so cute! And so is Keely's bottom!! That just makes me laugh! You are crazy!
Wow! What a good year! Sounds like Shawn is super busy. School, work, dad, and a husband. That's like Trace too...I guess someday they will get to relax! (Maybe when there 50 or something.)
I can't believe Keely is one. They grow up so fast. Brody is already 1/2. That's nuts. Oh and he got RSV too. It was crappy, but we didn't have to go to the hospital, so that was good.
Well...I'm glad you guys had a good year. Hope you have a good one this year too!!! Tell Shawn I said WHAT UP! And give Keely kisses!
