We Will Miss You Dear Prophet

Well those of you who don't know, our dear prophet President Gordon B. Hinckley passed away last night about 7pm. He was almost 98 years old. He was such an amazing man doing the things he was doing at his age. I will miss him so dearly, as I am sure most people will. He is in such a better place now as he is having his long overdue reuinion with his sweet wife Marjorie. I have had 3 presidents in my lifetime, but President Hinckley is the one I knew the best. I was priveledge to see him at the Snowflake Arizonal Temple dedication. Our ward was one of the few that was chosen to put bootie socks on the people going in. President Hinckley pulled up in a red sports car, which was pretty funny. And when he stepped on those holy grounds, everything was quite and peaceful. You could sense that he was a prophet of the Lord. He was so lively and happy, shaking as many hand as he could. I hope I never forget that memory. I love President Hinckley and I hope he know how much he is going to be missed, and how much he is appreciated for the service he has put into the progressing of the Lord's Kingdom here on earth.

I would ave to agree with you. We are sad, but you can't help but be happy that he will be with his wife and he will finally get to have a little break(probably not for long though:)) Jared and I both have talked about how there was no one like him or will ever be as special and great as he was.

I am glad we got to live through the time when he was prophet, he is one that will always be talked about. He was definately a special man. It was such bad news to hear until I thought about how happy he was getting to see his wife again. He was a great prophet and will be missed, but we will love all the rest too! They are all truly men of God.
