We are Alive....

Yes we are here and alive, well I am barely. Haha, it's been an exhausting 3 weeks so far. I haven't gotten more than a 3 hour stretch of sleep in 3 weeks. Literally. Nobody told me that having a newborn would be so exhausting. Haha, okay, so I have heard rumors that babies don't sleep throught the night, but I thought that all my babies would. :) Keely was such an angel sleeper, when we brought her home from the hospital, she was already sleeping 5 hour spans at night. I am hoping that Lydia will start sleeping more for me here soon at least by week 5. She has got to be tired too right? So as of now we are just taking one day at a time.
Lydia is such a sweet little girl though, and Keely just loves her so much. Everytime, Lydia is lying on the floor, Keely is either "playing" with her by sharing her toys, reading to her, tickling or laying down by her. It is so cute. I failed to mention, the first day that we brought Lydia home, the first thing Keely did was give Lydia her care bear. And if anyone knows Keely they know that her care bear is her world. She takes it everywhere, and has this weird fedish comfort thing of rubbing it's hand on her nose. So you know she really likes you when she gives you her care bear. :)
Keely loves to cuddle with her daddy, so when Lydia was doing it, Keely just snuggled right in. They are so sweet, and don't let Shawn fool you, he loves his little girls, even though one is obsessed with Princesses. :)
I also wanted to say what wonderful family Shawn and I have been blessed with, especially our mothers. My mom came down to help us during her most busiest time of the school year, which I know was a big sacrifice for her. Shawn's mom is also so wonderful. I don't know what I would do without her living so close to us. What would we do without family? Shawn and I are so blessed.

Sharla I know exactly what you mean, my little guy is on that same schedule, but none of my babies have been great sleepers so i expected it. Your girls sure are cute and i'm anxious to see her in person, maybe next month right? I need to update so bad but i've been so busy keeping up with my 4 there seems to be no time! Good luck and keep those pics. coming.
