Family Update.

So there really hasn't been much going on with us lately. Shawn started yet another semester. He's taking 15 credit hours and working still full time. This is a hard semester, and I think the rest are going to be hard as well. When I say hard I mean I never get to see him anymore. Every night he either gets home at 7:15 or 8:40. So Keely and I have some long days ahead of us. Shawn's classes are getting tougher though as well and so they are long days for him. We just keep counting down the weeks for the end of another semester... Shawn is still trying to sell his motorcycle, so if anyone knows someone who wants to buy a good looking motorcycle, just let me know.... :)

Keely had a little accident last Sunday the 26th of Jan . We were about to leave for church, and I got a necklace out of my jewlry box that hangs on the wall. Keely saw me and deciced she wanted one too. So she climb up on my vanity while I was in the other room, and my curling iron was still on. She knelt down right on top of it, and it burned her pretty bad. I felt so bad because I should have been watching her around it. Hence we didn't make it to sacrament meeting, since we were trying to soothe Keely and keep her calm. She was wearing a knee length skirt so the first layer of skin just came off with the curling iron. I feel so bad for her. It was such a tramatic experience and it still is when we change the bandages. Below is a picture of the ugly thing. It looks really bad. I just hope it doens't get infected and doensn't scar. It was a good learning experice for me though with having to deal with a major wound. I just hope I am taking care of it correctly.

The pregnancy is going well. I feel great, I did with Keely so hopeful I am just lucky. Except my tail bone hurts so badly this time. I never experienced that with Keely. I guess it's just the way this baby is positioned. I am hoping it doesn't get worse when I get bigger. I haven't been doing much besides working while Keely naps and trying to find fun things for Keely and I to do together.

Since Shawn and I got married we have been using a tiny little 4 drawer dresser that I used growing up. Ya its pretty small. So we decided it was time to get a new one since the baby is coming, and Keely could have our old dresser. So we headed over to DI to see what they had (my first experience with DI, and I absolutely love that store!) and we found a really nice dresser. It needed a little work, but we bought it. I wish I took a before picture, but this is what my little project has been over the last couple days. We have like double the space now, and it is so nice not to jam pack shirts and underware in our drawers anymore.
